John leads and supports the media, marketing, and digital communications efforts for both St. Jude Shrine and the Catholic Apostolate Center. John brings extensive experience in Catholic communications and digital media, having most recently served as Digital Editor of National Catholic Reporter, where he developed the publication's social media and multimedia strategy. He also previously served as Associate Director of Communications for Fundraisers and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities (FADICA) and as Director of Digital Media for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport.

John is also a digital media consultant for religious institutions, non-profits, and small businesses, as well as a Catholic speaker and author with a passion for digital media discernment and discipleship. He recently contributed a chapter to the book Building Your Digital Sanctuary: An Introductory Guide to Effective Digital Ministry. John earned his bachelor's degree from Boston College and his master's degree from Sacred Heart University. He resides in Connecticut with his wife, Nicole, their daughters, Rose and Lily, and their Golden Retriever, Ellie.
