“Jesus is calling you to be a disciple with a mission! The Church needs you, your enthusiasm, your creativity and the joy that is so characteristic of you.”
(Homily of Pope Francis during the Mass on the Occasion of the XXVIII World Youth Day)
Adults of all ages who are active Catholics have an important place in the Church and are needed now more than ever to share their talents, enthusiasm and creativity in the church and in the world! Yet living as an adult Catholic can be challenging without a strong peer community, frequent transitions, and sometimes a lack of opportunities provided to be involved in leadership.
"Apostles on Mission reminded me that I shouldn't expect to see the conversion of every person I talk to about faith. I only need to be willing and open to the Holy Spirit to work through me. God will handle the rest!"- Apostles on Mission Spring 2016 Participant
