Dr. Colleen Campbell is Manager of Formation Programs at the Catholic Apostolate Center. Colleen is a co-author of The Art of Accompaniment: Theological, Spiritual, and Practical Elements of Building a More Relational Church. At the Center, Colleen develops formative materials, opportunities, and programs for Catholics to grow in their faith and vocation, as well as provides intentional formation for participants in the Center's internship program.
Colleen holds a PhD in Catechetics and Religious Education from the Catholic University of America. Her dissertation is titled "'Removing Our Sandals Before the Sacred Ground of the Other': Finding the Roots of Catechetical Accompaniment in the Thought of Pope Francis and in the Ancient and Restored Catechumenates." Additionally, she holds a BA in Pastoral Ministry from the University of Dallas and an MA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. She is an alumna of Notre Dame's Echo Program, through which she served as an apprentice catechetical leader in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Colleen has also served in various lay and catechetical ministry roles in the Diocese of Ft. Worth and the Archdiocese of Washington. She is originally from Greenville, South Carolina.
